When three little girls open the door thinking he is singing carols, David reluctantly performs a rendition of “Good King Wenceslas”, operatically accompanied by his surprisingly gifted driver, Terry.

7. Ant or Dec
On live television, Billy Mack (Bill Nighy) is asked to present the competition prize of a personalised felt tip pen. He demonstrates it on a framed photo of the pop band Blue, against whom Billy is competing for the number one Christmas hit.
UK television personalities Ant and Dec watch in silent horror as Nighy proceeds to deface the beloved boy band and leaves the audience with an educational message: “don’t buy drugs. Become a popstar and they give them to you for free!”
6. “I Hate Uncle Jamie!”
Jamie (Colin Firth) arrives at his family home for Christmas, only to announce when stepping through the front door that he will be heading off immediately. Having decided that “a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do”, he plonks the presents down and leaves for the airport. This does not go down well with his family, particularly his angry nieces and one especially low-pitched nephew.
