Oscars 2024 Nominations – Full List

Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer and The Zone of Interest were among the list of Best Picture and Best Director nominees announced for the 2024 Oscars, whilst awards frontrunners Sandra Hüller, Lily Gladstone, Carey Mulligan and Emma Stone were highlighted alongside Annette Bening in the hotly contested Actress In a Leading Role category.

The nominations for the 96th Academy Awards were announced from Los Angeles via live stream today, Tuesday 23rd January 2024, with hosts Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid revealing to the world the films nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to be the very best of 2023.

In a presentation aired in front of a live audience, Academy president Janet Yang proudly boasted that this year’s awards were voted on by more than 11,000 members from 93 countries.

Several surprises occurred, most notably in the academy’s omissions, with the largest being Margot Robbie’s absence in the Actress In a Leading Role category for her performance in Barbie. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse composer Daniel Pemberton was also absent in the Original Score category, another hotly contested category this year, while early awards season frontrunner Leonardo DiCaprio is absent from the Actor In a Leading Role category for his performance in Killers of the Flower Moon.

The 96th Academy Awards (2024 Oscars) will once again be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and will take place live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday 10th March 2024 at 7pm (EST), 12am (GMT).
