The BAFTA Nominees 2017

The nominees for the 2017 EE British Academy Film Awards were announced this morning – 10th of January – and broadcast to the web via Facebook Live. British made independent film I, Daniel Blake was awarded 5 nominations including Best Film and a Director nomination for Ken Loach, while La La Land was the most nominated film with a total of 11. Fantastic Beasts was also nominated 5 times, including a nomination for Outstanding British Film. Meanwhile, Nocturnal Animals was notably absent from the ‘Best Film’ category despite being nominated 9 times across the other categories.
