Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2017 – The Winners
The vibrancy of the film going community was a welcomed addition to the City of York this past week as Aesthetica Magazine’s prestigious Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) returned to the ancient city for 5 days of short films from across the globe, presenting a total of 300 films in 18 venues as well as a series of masterclasses, showcases and community events. The festival concluded this past Sunday 12th November 2017 with the official awards ceremony, where a panel of 12 established film scholars and professionals presented filmmakers with the Best of Festival award, Northern Film School Award for Best Screenplay, The People’s Choice award, the York Youth Award and the Best of Category for each of the festival’s 12 categories.
