2020 British Independent Film Awards – Winners List
The delayed annual British Independent Film Awards were hosted this evening, Thursday 18th February 2021, by Harry Potter alum Tom Felton in a fully digital ceremony boasting guests from the best of British independent film and beyond.
Broadcast live via YouTube and Facebook Live, the 23rd annual British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) celebrated so much of the cinema that went under the radar in 2020, the big winners on the night being His House, Saint Maud and Rocks.
Felton and his zoom party of dozens of filmmakers imbued the ceremony with a sense of excitement and youth, painting the picture of an independent national industry that may be going through difficult times but is still producing undeniably great pieces of art.
