10 Best Bridesmaids Moments

8. The Cupcake

Kristen Wiig bakes a cupcake in 'Bridesmaids' (2011).

While this scene doesn’t really add much to the plot, it is a beautifully choreographed piece.

Annie bakes a single cupcake and decorates it immaculately before cramming it into her face, her mouth downturned and her eyes dull.

The tiny details show that Annie is extremely talented – while we know her to be a mess, this makes it clear there was a time when she wasn’t. And the bakery’s closure most likely wasn’t her fault.

7. The JuJu Dress

Maya Rudolph test-wears an extravagant wedding dress in 'Bridesmaids' (2011).

Lillian tries on the dress that Helen has arranged with a famous designer and she looks absolutely ridiculous. It’s a nice wrapping up moment between the two best friends and it helps us to know that everything is going to be okay.

She is the weirdo of the group, the one whose boundaries are way off, the character to whom social cues mean nothing.

She is confident and romantically successful even while dressed in a golfing shirt and a Kangol hat. Her wooing of the air marshal (real-life husband Ben Falcone) is a welcome break from the wedding and internal politics of the group. She’s walking to the beat of her own drum, and she likes it. And so does he…
