European Film Awards 2019 – Winners Full List

The annual European Film Awards (EFAs) were hosted from the German capital Berlin on Saturday 7th December 2019, with Yorgos Lanthimos’ Oscar-winning dark comedy The Favourite winning big.

The period dramady won both the European Film and European Comedy awards, while also winning big in a number of individual categories to top the list of most wins with an unforeseen eight awards overall.

Spanish actor Antonio Banderas was also honoured during the event with the award for European Actor for his performance in Dolor y Gloria (Pain and Glory), in a ceremony headlined by Werner Herzog and Juliette Binoche who earned the European Film Academy Lifetime Achievement Award and the European Achievement in World Cinema award respectively.
