The 2018 Golden Globe Awards – The Winners
The 75th annual Golden Globe Awards were hosted by Seth Meyers at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California tonight (Sunday 7th January 2018), with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association handing out 13 film awards to their selection of 2017’s greatest releases. At the head of the nominees was Three Billboards which took home 4 awards, twice as many as its nearest competitors, while Oprah Winfrey’s awarding of the Cecil B. DeMille award will likely be the night’s best remembered moment as the famed TV host, actress and entertainer gave a rousing 17 minute speech that encapsulated the night’s sense of togetherness that was lead beautifully by the Time’s Up initiative and the choices of the attendees to wear black in solidarity with the victims of sexual assault.
