Jamie Lee Curtis Joins Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out’ Ensemble

Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis, who is currently number one at the worldwide box office at the lead of the 2018 film, has joined the ever-growing cast of the upcoming mystery-thriller Knives Out from The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson.

Curtis, who last weekend set the record for highest grossing horror movie with a female lead and highest grossing movie of all time starring a protagonist over the age of 55, joins Infinity War star Chris Evans, 007 actor Daniel Craig, The Shape of Water actor Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, Don Johnson and Blade Runner 2049 actress Ana De Armas on the film.

Details of the movie remain scarce with no reports being able to pinpoint Curtis’ role on the film at this time, though filming is set to begin as soon as November with Media Rights Capital (MRC) backing the project.

Johnson’s Star Wars entry The Last Jedi was divisive amongst audiences, though his earlier works Black and Looper were given high praise by critics and audiences alike. It is said that he’ll film Knives Out before jumping into his own Star Wars spin-off trilogy.
