Emile Hirsch Pleads Guilty to Assault On Studio Executive
30 year old Prince Avalanche (2013), Milk (2008) and Into the Wild (2007) actor Emile Hirsch has been jailed for 15 days following a guilty plea for misdemeanor assault on a studio executive during the Sundance Film Festival.
The incident occurred in Thai Nightclub, Utah on January 25th 2015, when the actor placed Insurge Pictures executive Danielle Burnfeld in a chokehold. Records show that the actor attacked the executive from behind, dragged her across a table and slammed her to the floor.
As well as the 15 day jail sentence for misdemeanor assault, Hirsch has also been ordered to pay a $4,750 fine and complete 50 hours of community service.
