Rebecca Ferguson To Co-Star In ‘Girl On the Train’

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation actress Rebecca Ferguson has signed with Dreamworks to be the co-star of the upcoming Paula Hawkins thriller novel adaptation Girl On the Train.

Ferguson will link up with another actress who has worked closely with Tom Cruise over the past few years, Emily Blunt, and shall play the new wife of Blunt’s ex-husband in the London-set film that’s to be directed by Tate Taylor (The Help).

Ferguson’s “show-stealing performance” in the Mission: Impossible franchise is sure to have boosted her reputation and drawing power as an actress, bringing with her an expectation of quality for this movie in one of the three major female roles in the picture.

Other names attached to the movie include: Erin Cressida Wilson as screenwriter; Marc Platt as producer, and; Celia Costas and Jared LeBoff as executive producers.
