Paramount recently made a few changes to their release calendar in a shake up that left Bad Moms, a project once headed by actor-director couple Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow, off the calendar.
Perhaps the biggest piece of news comes with regard to director Richard Linklater. The director’s followup to Academy Award nominated Boyhood (2014) has been chalked in for a release on April 15th 2016.
The movie is currently rumoured to be titled “Everybody Wants Some” and the plot will revolve around a baseball team “on and off the field”. Tyler Hoechlin of Teen Wolf fame is set to lead.
Other releases scheduled for April 15th 2016 are: Jungle Book (dir. Jon Favreau); Mechanic: Resurrection (starring Jason Statham), and; The Best Man Wedding (starring Terrence Howard).
