— Warning! Spoilers regarding other Shyamalan Films Ahead! —
M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming sequel to both Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2017) has added two of Unbreakable’s cast members, Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard.
The new movie, titled Glass, will face off Bruce Willis’s Unbreakable hero David Dunn with James McAvoy’s Split villain The Beast (also known as several other aliases), and it has already been confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson will return to his role as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass.
Clark and Woodard were prominent members of Shyamalan’s Unbreakable cast, with Clark playing Willis’s son Joseph and Woodard playing Samuel L. Jackson’s mother in a number of flashbacks. The duo will reprise their original roles in the sequel.
Split star Anya Taylor-Joy is also confirmed to be returning for Glass, which is said to tell of the superhero feud between Dunn and Beast, with Glass acting as a background figure holding crucial information on both characters.
The movie is set for a January 2019 release date.
