JJ Abrams to Direct ‘Star Wars IX’
J.J. Abrams has officially been unveiled as the man to helm the final episode in the central Star Wars saga.

The director, whose work on Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015) was met with critical and audience appraisal, will also co-write the movie with Chris Terrio.
Abrams and his production company Bad Robot will also board the film as producers, joining Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy as well as Michelle Rejwan.
“With The Force Awakens, J.J. delivered everything we could have possibly hoped for, and I am so excited that he is coming back to close out this trilogy,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
