Jamie Lee Curtis Returning to ‘Halloween’ Franchise
When Halloween debuted in 1978, few could have expected that the franchise would reunite with its star Jamie Lee Curtis some 40 years later for an 11th instalment, but according to Blumhouse Productions’ twitter account, that’s precisely what’s going to happen.

The new feature will mark Curtis’ fifth appearance in the franchise after appearing as character Laurie Strode in Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) and Halloween: Resurrection (2002).
Curtis becomes the first confirmed cast member for the new film which is set to be written by David Gordon Green and frequent collaborator Danny McBride, with Green also set to direct.
Speaking of the new film back in February, Halloween creator John Carpenter said the following via Facebook:
Curtis posted the following in response to today’s news:
“Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18.” pic.twitter.com/IvptiZctyw
