French director Jacques Audiard, whose Dheepan film won the 2015 Palme d’Or at Cannes, announced on French Radio station RTL that his next project will be made in the English language.
The 53 year old Grand Prize winning filmmaker’s first foray into English language cinema will be an adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s 2011 novel “The Sisters Brothers”, a Western following two brothers hired to murder a prospector during the California Gold Rush.
The movie will also star John C. Reilly in a yet-to-be-announced role.
