Max Landis Making New ‘American Werewolf In London’

A re-imagining of An American Werewolf In London (1981) is in the works from Max Landis, the son of the original movie’s director John Landis.

The internet personality and filmmaker whose list of feature-length screenplays includes Chronicle (2012), American Ultra (2015) and Victor Frankenstein (2015), looks set to follow his directorial debut on Me Him Her (2015) by directing as well as writing the remake of his father’s horror-comedy.

Max’s father John is also involved in the project as an Executive Producer after acquiring the rights from An American Werewolf in Paris director Anthony Waller. Andy Trapani will produce the picture alongside The Walking Dead’s David Alpert and Robert Kirkman.
